Thanks to grants and scholarships, more than half of M State ºÚÁϹÙÍøs now attend tuition-free each year. 

M State is committed to increasing the number of ºÚÁϹÙÍøs who attend tuition-free to 75 percent by 2025.

Workforce Development Scholarships

New entering ºÚÁϹÙÍøs enrolled in more than 40 M State programs are eligible to receive Workforce Development scholarships. Funded by the Minnesota Legislature, they provide $2,500 per academic year ($1,250 per semester) up to a maximum of $5,000 over four semesters.

 

North Star Promise Scholarships

The North Star Promise Scholarship program creates a tuition- and fee-free pathway to higher education for at eligible institutions, including M State!

North Star Promise scholarships cover the balance of tuition and fees remaining after other scholarships, grants, stipends and tuition waivers have been applied.
