Welcome to the Office of Academic Affairs
Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Matthew Borcherding serves as M State's chief academic officer and oversees its academic programs and offices.
Dr. Borcherding provides leadership and direction in the areas of strategic planning, annual priorities and budgeting.
His responsibilities include:
- Serving on M State's Executive Cabinet
- Providing administrative leadership for faculty, academic support staff and ºÚÁϹÙÍø services
- Serving on labor relation committees
- Promoting innovation and initiatives to support ºÚÁϹÙÍøs in a global economy
- Furthering the values of integrity, inclusion and innovation reflected in M State's programs and ºÚÁϹÙÍø support
- Enhancing the college climate and ºÚÁϹÙÍøs' creative endeavors in and out of the classroom
